Since 1999, CMC has performed onsite performance surveys in conjunction with our outsourcing strategy work at nearly 200 EMS assembly sites in North America, Asia and Europe. We have also investigated many excellent sub-tier suppliers of plastics, precision metals, cables and other custom parts in low-cost regions. We understand the specific economic and service trade-offs between largest, mid-sized and smaller EMS providers; also, the varied production, materials management and service capabilities of individual sites.
